Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance

DenMat offers a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, and prescription drugs. Full-time employees (those who work 30 hours or more per week) are eligible for enrollment in these programs, with coverage effective upon the date of hire.

Retirement Savings Accounts/401(k)

Employees are eligible to join DenMat's 401(k) Savings and Retirement Plan after the first 90 days of employment. Employees who enroll in this program automatically have 5% of their pre-tax income vested into their 401(k) plan, up to Internal Revenue Service’s annual plan limit on a pre-tax basis. Several investment options are available. DenMat offers participating employees a company match of 50% of the first 5% deferred. This employer match vests at 3 years, at 33% per year.

Employee Assistance Program

Free counseling services are provided to all employees and their family members through this program, with services available 24 hours per day/365 days per year.

Long-Term Disability Coverage

DenMat provides long-term disability coverage at no cost to eligible employees. This coverage provides ongoing benefits should an employee become injured and need care past 26 weeks (short-term disability). Benefits are paid monthly as long as the employee is disabled, up to 2 years. The Core LTD benefits pay 60% of the employee's monthly pre-disability earnings (up to $9000/month). Employees have the option to purchase a buy-up plan that continues long-term disability coverage until age 67.

Life Insurance

DenMat provides eligible employees with basic life insurance and business travel accident insurance at no extra cost. Coverage is effective upon date of hire.

Paid Time Off (Holiday Pay, Vacation, Paid Sick Leave, Bereavement)

DenMat provides its full-time employees with 10 paid holidays each year, which may include some number of floating holidays to use at the employee’s discretion.

Vacation days are accrued each pay period with accrual beginning on date of hire. The number of vacation days granted each year is dependent on status and years of service. I.E., A full-time regular employee with 1-4 years of service may accrue up to 10 days (80 hours) of paid vacation time in a year.

Paid sick leave includes 5 days (or 40 hours) for those starting employment from the first of the year through June 30th, and 3 days (or 24 hours) if hired July 1st through the end of the calendar year. Paid sick leave is available to use upon hire. Existing employees are provided a sick leave grant each year, in accordance with the company’s policies.

Three days of Bereavement pay will be provided to full-time employees in the case of the death of an immediate family member, and one day for non-immediate family members, in accordance with the company’s policies.
