DenMat takes the health of its employees seriously and offers ergonomic assessments to promote musculoskeletal health. As part of this commitment, workplace assessments are conducted to ensure employees are not at risk of developing discomfort as a result of their workspace/tasks. Appropriate desk/work surface height, keyboard placement, monitor height, and chair adjustment are all reviewed. To further support this, DenMat provides stretch breaks for its production employees, in which stretch bands are utilized for increased flexibility, optimum performance, and prevention of muscle-related injuries.

The DenMat Ambassador Program allows employees to spend time observing other departments within the company each quarter. This provides employees the unique opportunity to observe career paths within DenMat, view the functions of a department with whom they frequently interact, or to better understand the impact of their position within the scope of the company as a whole. Ambassadors are paired with a chosen representative from the department and are encouraged to share their observations within their team. The Ambassador Program has resulted in career path changes and advancement opportunities among DenMat employees.
