Course Description

The lecture will discuss implant site evaluation for single and multiple implants including the edentulous arch, treatment planning, techniques for hard and soft tissue augmentation as well as limitations and complications. Review basic socket preservation to more advanced bone grafting procedures including identification and classification of defects, indications, graft types and sources, procedure and management of complications.

  • Learn current hard and soft tissue augmentation techniques

David L. McAninch IV, DDS

Dr. David McAninch was born and raised in Lompoc, CA. He graduated from Cabrillo High School, and attended California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo for his Bachelor’s degree. He then attended the University of Southern California Ostrow School of Dentistry, where he discovered his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS). Following dental school, he completed his OMS residency at the University of the Pacific, and the Alameda County Medical Center – Highland Hospital in Oakland and San Francisco. Dr. McAninch also recently earned his certification as a Diplomate from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted to DenMat prior to the first day of the course for a refund. A full refund of the course tuition will be granted for cancellation requests documented seven (7) days or more prior to the scheduled course date. Fifty percent of the course fee will be refunded for cancellation requests received less than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled course date.

DenMat Education reserves the right to cancel any course, limit enrollment, modify the announced content, or change the location, time, date, and faculty of any course, as deemed necessary or advisable. Should DenMat Education cancel a course, DenMat Education’s liability is limited to a full refund of the course fee.
