With over 75% of Americans suffering from some sort of gum disease, your patient’s mouth is a mirror to the health of their body. This course will cover the prevalence of periodontal disease in today’s dental patient base and the oral systemic health connection. The discussion will focus on current in-office and at-home treatment options for combating the biofilm colonies that perpetuate periodontal disease. Attendees will learn how to effectively identify and communicate with patients who would benefit from treatment and provide them with tools to increase compliance to achieve more successful treatment outcomes.

Suzanne Haley, DMD

Dr. Suzanne Haley received her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from the University of Georgia and graduated with honors from the Medical College of Georgia, where she earned her DMD degree. She opened her practice 1992 in Brunswick, Georgia and built her current practice in St. Simons island, Georgia in 1994. Dr. Haley is an instructor for the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, where she teaches dental sleep medicine, TMJ therapy and facial esthetics.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted to DenMat prior to the first day of the course for a refund. A full refund of the course tuition will be granted for cancellation requests documented seven (7) days or more prior to the scheduled course date. Fifty percent of the course fee will be refunded for cancellation requests received less than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled course date.

DenMat Education reserves the right to cancel any course, limit enrollment, modify the announced content, or change the location, time, date, and faculty of any course, as deemed necessary or advisable. Should DenMat Education cancel a course, DenMat Education’s liability is limited to a full refund of the course fee.
