Patient acceptance is increased because of PSP's high-frequency linear tip motion, quiet operation, minimal water output, and effectiveness with light, lateral pressure.
Clinician comfort.
The lightweight, ergonomic handpiece is designed to reduce muscle strain and less pressure is required to effectively scale. The clinician can also work far more efficiently and can perform gross debridement and definitive root planning in one step without changing tips.
A closed system.
The multi-fluid system offers a choice of using distilled water, chlorhexidine and fluoride in a simple, three medicament bottle design. Because the fluid delivery system is closed, infection control is enhanced and the risk of biofilm contamination is reduced.
