The principal components of an employee's cash pay program consist of base pay and may include an incentive pay plan.
The goal of the base pay plan is to pay employees competitively based on comparisons to the marketplace and their contributions to the company.
The goal of an incentive plan is to reward the workforce for directly contributing to revenue growth or the success of high impact organizational strategic projects.
For our employee’s convenience, we offer and strongly encourage direct deposit. Under this program, an employee’s pay is automatically deposited in their personal bank or credit union account by noon on payday. This service guarantees the delivery of an employee’s pay on time, every time.
DenMat offers a health and wellness plan which includes medical, dental, and vision care coverage.
Full-time Employees (at least 30 hours per week) are eligible to enroll in the health and wellness plan. Coverage is effective upon date of hire.
Employee Assistance Program
Free counseling services are provided to all employees and their family members through the Company’s EAP. Employees may contact the EAP 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
401k Retirement Savings Plan
Employees are eligible to join DenMat's 401(k) Savings and Retirement Plan after completing 90 days of service. Employees may contribute up to IRS annual plan limit on a pre-tax basis selecting from an assortment of investment options. DenMat has a discretionary match which is evaluated from year to year.
Long Term Disability (LTD)
The Company provides eligible employees with LTD coverage, at no cost to employees, in case of disabilities continuing after 26 weeks. Benefits will be paid monthly as long as the employee is disabled, for two years. The Core LTD benefits pay 60% of the employee's monthly pre-disability earnings up to $9000.00 per month. Employees have the option to purchase a buy-up plan which continues LTD coverage until age 67.
The Company provides eligible employees with basic life insurance and business travel accident insurance at no cost to the employee. Coverage is effective upon date of hire.
Employees accrue vacation each pay period based on status and years of service. Employees are eligible for vacation accrual upon date of hire.
Paid Sick Leave (PSL)
In accordance with CA state law, newly hired employees are granted three (3) days or twenty-four (24) hours of paid sick leave upon hire and are eligible to use PSL after 90 days of employment.
Existing employees are provided a sick leave grant each year in accordance with the Company’s policies.
Paid Holidays generally consist of 10 major holidays such as:
- New Year’s Day
- President’s Day
- Good Friday
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving and Day After
- Christmas Holiday (2 days)
