  • Dr. Terri Alani

    For 30 years, Dr. Terri Alani, a former Texas Aggie, has created a successful practice in Houston one smile at a time. She graduated from Texas A&M University with her Bachelor of Science, and also graduated from the University of Texas Houston with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. In addition to perfecting smiles, Dr. Alani hosts a weekly radio show with her brother, Dr. Wayne Alani, an orthopedic surgeon, where they discuss a wide range of health-related topics.

    She lectures nationally to dentists teaching the snap-on-smile procedure. Dr. Terri Alani is also a monthly guest on 'Great Day Houston' where she discusses dental-related topics. She is the Media Committee Chairman for the Greater Houston District Dental Society and serves on the Communications Committee for the Texas Dental Association. For the past 3 years, she has been voted as one of Houston's Top Dentists. Dr. Alani is a member of the Greater Houston Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association and is on the Advisory Council for the College of Science at Texas A & M.

  • Dr. Leyla Fazeli

    Dr. Fazeli is a cosmetic and restorative dentist with more than a decade of professional experience. She is a 2001 graduate of Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and an active member of The American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Orange County Dental Association. Dr. Fazeli also travels all over the nation as well as internationally teaching courses on Cosmetic Dentistry.

    Along with continuous research and keeping herself up-to-date with the latest technology, Dr. Fazeli is inspired by the art of creating beautiful smiles.   • Dr. Barry Freydberg

    Dr. Barry Freydberg is a graduate of the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry and a pioneer in technological advancements in the field of dentistry. Dr. Freydberg maintains two practices in Skokie, IL, and Glendale, AZ. He has placed over 600 thin veneer units.

    In 42 years of practice he has performed numerous minimal-prep and traditional-prep veneer placements. He states that going back to placing minimal-prep veneers was one of the best decisions he ever made. Dr. Freydberg lectures for the American Dental Association, the FDI, and other major dental meetings, study clubs and universities in the United States and internationally on minimally invasive esthetic procedures, computerized marketing and management, the use of the Internet, and the acquisition and use of management and clinical technology in the dental practice.

  • Dr. Peter Harnois

    Dr. Peter Harnois has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in the Hinsdale, IL community for 30 years. In 2008, he opened a prestigious cosmetic practice in downtown Chicago. He graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 1982, where he served as class president for 3 years. He was an assistant professor of Oral Diagnosis from 1983-1989.

  • Dr. Louis Kaufman

    Dr. Louis Kaufman is a nationally recognized educator, author, and practicing clinician. Born into a dental family, Dr. Kaufman is a graduate of the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry. In 1995 he joined his father Richards well-established 50-yearold General Dentistry practice, treating third and fourth generation patients.

    Dr. Kaufman also possesses a diverse business background, including an MBA from DePaul in Computer Science and a BA in Marketing and Economics, which has helped him, build a seven-figure revenue stream at his Hyde Park private practice.   • Dr. Michael Kesner

    Dr. Michael Kesner has practiced general dentistry in Houston, Texas since 1984. He is author of the book Multi-Million Dollar Dental Practice, and founder and CEO of Quantum Leap Success in Dentistry. He writes for Dental Economics, and also lectures nationally on how to have extraordinary success in your practice. Dr. Kesner consults with dentists across the nation to double and triple their practices while cutting stress in half.

  • Dr. Stacey Layman

    Dr. Stacey Layman is a true believer in minimally invasive dentistry. After graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry, she moved to Arizona for an associate position and within a year purchased a modest family dental practice. Dr. Layman has placed over 1,500 veneer units since 2006.

    Her practice has changed into a cosmetic practice, and she can work less while keeping up production. Dr. Layman has appeared on ABC, NBC and CBS with a featured 'LUMINEERS of the month.' She is on the advisory board for DenMat Holdings, LLC, a co-founder of LaunchPad VT, virtual interactive education, and is the co-founder of GoGo Billing, Medical Billing for Dentists.

  • Dr. Edward Lowe

    Dr. Edward Lowe, B.Sc., D.M.D., is a 1986 graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Dentistry. He maintains a full time private practice devoted to comprehensive functional aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry in downtown Vancouver, BC.

    Dr. Lowe is an accredited member and accreditation examiner in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and holds fellowships in the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics, American College of Dentists, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He sits on the editorial advisory board of the Dental ChronicleJournal of Implant and Advanced Clinical Dentistry and is the editor-in-chief of the AACD’s Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry.

    Dr. Lowe co-mentors the TEST study club with Dr. John Nasedkin in Vancouver and is currently adjunct faculty at the University of British Columbia. He has published over 50 articles and lectures internationally on aesthetic, restorative, and implant dentistry.

  • Dr. David Ouellet

    Dr. David Ouellet is a native of Boston and a graduate of Georgetown University Dental School. He maintains a successful practice in Santa Maria, California, where he specializes in adhesive cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Ouellet has conducted clinical research for placement and evaluation of composite resin. He has published numerous clinical and research- based papers and is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has conducted lectures and hands-on workshops on esthetic materials and techniques throughout the world. Dr. Ouellet has placed more than 5,000 thin veneer units over 25 years.   • Dr. Jim Pasternak

    Dr. Jim Pasternak, a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, has practiced family and esthetic dentistry for over 35 years. Dr. Pasternak developed his techniques for minimally invasive dentistry while studying under Dr. Robert Ibsen, the founder of DenMat and Lumineers. He has personally placed over 1,500 Lumineers since becoming a member of the Lumineers Smile Discovery Program in 2009.

    Jim lectures nationally for DenMat as well as locally with study clubs on many topics including Lumineers, Snap on Smile and VELscope. In addition, he lectures on practice management, team development, sales and marketing techniques. Dr. Pasternak maintains a busy, high-tech practice that serves the city of Chatsworth, a suburb of Los Angeles, California.

    Dr. Pasternak is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a member of the American College of Forensic Dentists, and the Hypnosis Motivation Institute.

  • Dr. Gary Radz

    A graduate of the University of North Carolina, School of Dentistry. He maintains a full time private practice in downtown Denver, CO. He is a graduate and former chief resident for both the AEGD and GPR residency programs. Dr. Radz serves as an associate clinical professor at the University of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine. He is on the editorial board of seven different dental journals, including the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has written over 150 articles and contributed to two textbooks on subjects related to esthetic dentistry. For the past 15 years, Dr. Radz has lectured internationally. From 2004-2012, he has been recognized by Dentistry Today as a "Leader in Continuing Education". In 2002 2011, and 2013 he was the program chairman for the AACD's annual meeting. Since 2007, he has focused his personal education, teaching, and practice on maximizing the incorporation of no prep veneers.

  • Dr. Ian Shuman

    In full time practice for 23 years, Dr. Ian Shuman maintains a general, reconstructive and esthetic dental practice in Pasadena, Maryland. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington DC and earned his General Practice Residency from Peninsula General Hospital in NY.

    He is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, an Associate Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and has been named among the Top 100 Clinical Leaders in Continuing Education by Dentistry Today since 2005. He is a Dental Education Editorial Board Member for PennWell Publishing and, for the past 20 years, has personally authored a vast array of peer-reviewed published articles.

    A lecturer and author, Dr. Shuman has developed and taught his advanced, minimally invasive techniques to dentists worldwide. As an expert on DenMat products, Dr. Shuman published his first peer-reviewed article in the July-August 1999 issue of General Dentistry on the use of Geristore for root perforation repair and, since 2004, has lectured on Lumineers minimally invasive restorative techniques. Dr. Shuman’s mission is to teach dental professionals the most current methods for creating beautiful, long lasting restorations while preserving the maximum amount of tooth structure possible.
